Most LA rehearsal rooms rent you four walls and charge extra for a kit. Everything below is standing in the live room when you walk in, at no additional cost.
Ludwig drum kit
Pre-tuned and pre-mic'd — kick, snare, three toms, overheads, room pair. Bring sticks and a snare if you're precious about it.
Fender Twin + Vox AC30
Clean and chime. Two guitarists can both plug in without negotiating.
Fender Bassman
The rock amp, for when the Twin is too polite.
Fender Rumble 500
Bass rig. Loud enough for the room with headroom to spare.
Chickering baby grand (1917)
Tuned and ready. Not a stage piano — an actual grand in the corner of the live room.
Strats, Teles and Jazzmasters
House guitars you're welcome to borrow if yours is in the shop.

How a rehearsal block works
Book the block you need
Two-hour minimum, then hourly. Four hours is $200, eight is $400, and a full twelve-hour day is a flat $500 instead of $600.
Turn it up
It's a tracking room, not a share-house garage. Play at gig volume without a neighbour conversation, any hour we're open.
Everything's already in there
The kit is tuned, the amps are on, the piano is in tune. Load in with your guitar and your pedalboard and start.
Roll it into a record
If the rehearsal turns into something, you're already in the room where it gets tracked — book an engineer for the next block.

Rehearsal questions
- How much is rehearsal space in Los Angeles at Paradise?
- A flat $50 an hour for the entire studio — both rooms, the full backline, and the PA — with a 2-hour minimum. A full twelve-hour day books at a flat $500 rather than $600. There are no tiers and no peak-hour surcharge.
- Do I need to bring a drum kit or amps?
- No. The Ludwig kit stays set up and tuned, and the Fender Twin, Vox AC30, Fender Bassman and Rumble 500 are all in the room. Most bands bring guitars, pedals, sticks and a snare, and nothing else.
- Can we actually play loud?
- Yes. It's a purpose-built live room with a high ceiling, not a converted office. Full-band volume is what the room is for, and we're open until 2 am every night.
- Can we record the rehearsal?
- Yes, and plenty of bands do. The rental includes the control rooms, mics, outboard and the Apollo — you just need someone to run it. Bring your own engineer, or book a session with ours instead and we'll handle it.
- Is there parking and easy load-in?
- We're at 1505 4th St in downtown Santa Monica, two blocks off the Promenade, with an elevator up to Suite 219. There's street and structure parking around the block, and we'll help you get gear upstairs.
- How far ahead do we need to book?
- Same-week is usually fine, and weekends fill first. You can book online and pay in one go — the rate is the rate whether it's a Tuesday afternoon or a Saturday night.
