From Hollywood, Downtown LA, or the Valley it's a 25–45 minute drive, and we're open 9 am to 2 am every day, so off-peak sessions are easy to fit around traffic.
What's the difference between a recording studio and a music studio?
In practice, none — people use both to mean a professional room where you record. At Paradise it means the whole facility: the Rainforest Room for vocals, podcasts, and voiceover, the Rock Room for bands, drums, and piano, plus the control room and lounge. Every booking includes all of it and a professional engineer in the posted rate.
How much does studio time near me cost?
Our pricing is posted publicly: the whole studio starts at $160 per 2-hour block with our engineer included, and longer blocks lower the hourly rate — a 12-hour day is $850. Just need the space? Rehearsal is $30/hr and bringing your own engineer to record is $50/hr, both with a 2-hour minimum. Every rate is on /rates.
Can I book a same-day session?
Often, yes. We take online bookings by the hour from 9 am to 2 am every day, and the live calendar shows real availability — no email back-and-forth required.
